LAB CREATED DIAMONDS
Radiant Cut Diamonds
The radiant cut has 70 facets — more than most other shapes — which produces an intense, crushed-ice sparkle that is unlike anything a round or oval delivers. A rectangular radiant is a compelling choice for anyone drawn to the elegant outline of an emerald cut but who wants the brilliance of a round diamond.
The radiant carries no official cut grade on a GIA report, which makes proportions your primary tool for identifying a well-cut stone. The length-to-width ratio defines the overall shape — 1.00 to 1.05 produces a square outline, while 1.20 to 1.35 gives the classic rectangular look. Because the majority of fancy cut lab diamonds on the market are poorly proportioned, always use the table below as a filter before shortlisting stones.
